We’ve done it again… another update to our tools. This time we’ve expanded our Reward Links feature. Sometimes, it can be hard to find the best way to use a tool. So, we’ve added templates to provide a bit more inspiration.
We’re always looking for new ways to expand our current features. If we can add elements to strengthen our tools, we will do exactly that. This time, it’s our Reward Links that had a makeover. They’ve been updated so using them is now even easier.
Reward Links are a free marketing tool that allow you to benefit, while your audience does too. You include a reward of some kind, whether it be a discount code, secret file or link, and to access it, your audience must complete the tasks you set.
Many small businesses and creatives use Reward Links as a way of growing their name. They set the tasks as things such as following them on social platforms. Once the tasks have been completed, they can then download, or access the reward.
It’s a win-win for everyone involved. However, there are a lot of creatives that simply wouldn’t think to use them. That’s because for many, outside social media, Reward Links seem like a minefield. They’re unsure how to use them within their niche.
That’s why we have now added templates. While you can still create your own Reward Link from scratch, there will now also be the option to choose a template that best describes your aim, or your creative niche. Giving you an idea of what reward to include.
Reward Link template options
As you can see above, there are 9 Reward Link template options. Each of these has its own layout, inviting you to input certain data. For example, the Secret URL Access would require a URL to be inputted. Whereas, a Blank Template has completely free rein.
While you could make these options previously, we’ve now streamlined the process. Now, you’ll be able to see exactly what components should go into each category. It will allow each creator, small business or brand to utilise Reward Links effectively. Let’s break them down!
Lock In Listeners
Attach your streaming store links into this Reward Link option. This will allow your fans to stream your tracks and gain a reward for doing so. You can add actions such as streaming your music, following your artist page or even liking your playlists.
Boost Pre-saves
This template option encourages you to drive support to your upcoming release. If you have a track due to be released, and you’ve created a Pre-save through our free marketing tools, you can promote it. Encourage your listeners to save your track ahead of time for a reward.
Grow Social Followers
This template has been designed with content creators and social influencers in mind. You can add a variety of reward options. The actions to choose from are aimed at social media, with the hopes of growing your accounts in return for a reward.
Discount Code Reward
As you can see, with the Discount Code Reward, there are different options within the Unlock Type section. This is to guide you in the right direction with choosing a reward to offer. For example, you wouldn’t give a file download when allowing someone to access a discount.
Exclusive Music Downloads
This option is for those who want to share music no one has heard before. It’s great for musicians trying to grow their online presence because fans will follow any task to be able to hear music that’s not available elsewhere. It feels like you’re part of a club.
Free Reward
This is a template option for those who want to thank their fans without anything in return. It’s a gift link. Your audience aren’t required to complete any task in order to download your reward. It is a great template for any creatives/businesses or brands to say thanks.
Secret URL Access
If you have a link to a behind the scenes video. Or, perhaps you have a discount link rather than a code, you might be best using a Secret URL Access link. This will allow you to share a unique URL that your audience can access once they’ve completed tasks.
Game Key Reward
Gamers, and streamers, this one’s for you. If you want to share a game key with your viewers or fans, you can, but you can also be rewarded in growth while you do so. Grow your social media accounts, by encouraging those who want the game key, to follow you.
Blank Template
If you want complete free rein to add anything you like, this is the template to do so. This option is most like our first Reward Link style, it doesn’t have any direct path. Instead, it has features you must complete, but you can do so for any niche.
Just like we did with our Smart Links, we added templates to Reward Links to streamline the process. Now, so many more will feel they can use them because they will be able to see a template that represents what they offer. They don’t have to think too much about it.
This feature on our platform is completely free. It will allow you to reach the level of growth you’re looking for. If you promote it successfully across all social platforms, you could see followers from one platform, following you across other platforms too.
People like to feel noticed and special, and your audience will appreciate feeling that way. By having a free reward achieved by simply completing a couple of tasks they might have done anyway, they’ll feel far more appreciated than just being asked to follow you.
