With Instagram and Facebook being quite the Meta team, is there enough room for Threads? Well, it looks like there has to be, as Threads is getting even closer. Threads users will start seeing Insta comments.

Instagram comments will soon be visible on Threads. Just like Instagram and Facebook have crossovers. Now, Instagram and Threads are teaming up. Ok, well, they were already a partnership. After all, they’re owned by the same team.
Threads users will soon start seeing Instagram comments appear on the platform. In a crossover, Instagram are working on a way to share comments from Instagram posts to Threads. This has been leaked in the form of a photo.
Social media enthusiast, Alessandro Paluzzi often reverse engineers Meta and the social channels they hold to see new features. He then goes on to share these, so the public can look out for them. Cheers, Alessandro, you’re doing great work!
It seems there will be a dropdown option which will allow the user to select Threads as well as Instagram. By choosing this option, their comment will post to both of the platforms, rather than just one. This is just one way that Threads are integrating Instagram into their platform.
Meta previously allowed users to share their Threads to both Instagram and Facebook. Users can of course opt out of this at any stage, but it’s a great way of sharing one piece of content across the board. While Threads users don’t have DMs, they can direct people to Instagram.
The platforms crossing over so much makes it effortless for users to get the most out of each platform. Allowing them to utilise each site to its full potential, rather than having one platform trying to juggle everything.
However, it isn’t all systems go because Meta are slowing down their integration of Threads into the Fediverse. Previously, the company had high hopes that Threads would be the next big thing, but, it seems expansion of this has been put on hold.
